In this series of work, Ernest explores the different perspectives of war. A very familiar view of exploding buildings that are used to fearmonger, impersonalize, and glorify the war by the media and the second one of the reality of people experiencing it.

These experimental paintings were initially created between 2019 and 2023 for the “Unmute Gaza” project, which aims to bring light to the photojournalists in Gaza who risk their lives to tell the story of the conflict as seen on the ground.
